Commercial Photography

In a competitive world, a single picture can say more than a thousand words.

My commercial photography is perfectly suited to clients who want to try things a little differently, look at new perspectives and realise that a great photograph needs more than just a great camera to be created.

Although I’m based in Inverness I travel extensively with my work, enjoying photographing stories throughout the UK, and further afield. I enjoy taking the time to get to know what I am photographing, and why. That time allows me to know how best to shoot a subject, how to help put people at ease and get to see the best way to tell the story of your business.

With a journalistic background I relish the challenge of shooting images that are out of the studio and into the environment, wherever that may be, to capture a series of key images that communicate your brand and show a variety of people and places. In addition to capturing great still images, I also really enjoy collaborating with other creative individuals and can help advise on how to take your photographs to a different audience both in print and online. I also offer occasional one on one photography tuition to organisations looking to learn how to take better photographs or set up an archive of images for your organisation to benefit from. If you’d like more info then please get in touch, I’d be delighted to hear your ideas, and see how I might be able to bring them to life.

Headshots

Whether you’re looking to update your LinkedIn profile, creating a team page for your website, or building a personal brand, a great headshot makes all the difference. I offer relaxed, natural sessions that aim to put you at ease and capture you at your best.

Sessions are often shot outdoors, helping to put clients at ease, but also showing you in your natural work environment. If you would prefer a simple studio-style setup that’s also possible, with studio lighting brought to your location to capture your headshots.

Whatever suits your personality and profession I’ll aim to guide you through the process with no stiff poses, and a range of finished images to choose from.

Interiors and Accommodation Photography

Accommodation Photography

Great interior photography can bring your space to life. I focus on clean lines, natural light and thoughtful compositions that reflect the quality and care you’ve put into the design. Whether it’s a holiday let, retail space, renovation or new-build, I’ll help you capture a set of polished, professional images that speak for themselves.

For clients looking to capture images of their holiday accommodation i will also be happy to advise on options of capturing some additional locations and attractions, helping to show your space and it’s amenities at their best.

Scottish Whisky Photography

From my base in the Scottish Highlands I’m often privileged to get to capture images for some of Scotland’s best distilleries.
