Scottish Travel Photographer

Although I’m based in the Scottish Highlands, much of my travel photography is based overseas – particularly in Southeast Asia. I’ve been blessed to travel with my work for the last 20 years, and now count over 34 countries on 5 continents as destinations from my growing image archive. I particularly enjoy working alongside clients in the charity sector, and telling stories from around the world.

In addition to my overseas work, I also travel extensively in Scotland and frequently have the opportunity to photograph for clients who are looking to tell stories of people and places throughout the Highlands and Islands. London also pulls me in a couple of times each year, and remains a favourite place to photograph, both for it’s appeal as one of the most exciting cities in the world, but also as the place where I first ventured out with a camera and set off on my journey as a professional photographer.

Which countries are included in your archive?

I have a wide collection of images from projects built up over the last 20 years.

Most of my archive has been collected through South East Asia, including:

Do you shoot video?

I do capture some ocassional video content, including interview content for charty clients whilst travelling. I also own and operate a DJI Air 2S Drone for aerial capture.

Worked with Roddy for a brilliant IKEA PR campaign - his expertise were invaluable and ensured that the story achieved coverage across major national news publications.

Hope and Glory PR

Roddy is incredible! He was booked out for our wedding day so we did a day after shoot. He knew the most incredible spots that were completely hidden from plain sight and actually had to hike to access. I cannot recommend him and his work enough.
